1 cup plain flour
½ cup salt
1 cup cold water
1 tablespoon oil
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
few drops of food colouring
Optional – glitter

Mix all the ingredients together in a saucepan and place over a low heat. Mix until it is thick and dough like and no longer shiny. This will take about three minutes. Place the mixture on a board and knead for a few minutes. The dough will keep in an airtight plastic container for a few weeks. Great for moulding, rolling, making ‘cakes’, ‘biscuits’, ‘snakes’ and ‘sausages’, cutting and creating.
